As a young crop of “baby Birds” was being hatched in the Orioles system in the late 1960s, a non-so-subtle shift in the balance of power saw the rapid decline of an aging Yankees franchise and a rise to supremacy in Baltimore. One of those players was Curt Blefary who won the AL ROY award in 1965. Blefary is the subject of this 1966 game used pants pair. The Wilson size 36 specimens features light to moderate use and have been shortened as brought in at the waist, as indicated by black marker written in waistband reading "34W" and "26 in". The waistband also has stitched black indicators for player number (3), length (35), inseam measurement (27) and set and year ("66-1"). Moderate pilling in crotch area. Phil Wood LOA.
