The right-hander nicknamed "Rock" arrived from the Dodgers in '61 for his first of three seasons in K.C. In '62, he led the team in wins (14) while pacing the league in losses (17). On this pinstriped Wilson size-42 jersey, Rakow's number "35" appears as part of the "Set I 1961" chain-stitching, though another number identifier for "52" (with no apparent removal/alteration) occupies the back and sleeve. Moderate wear. This was the last year before the advent of Finley's famous vest styles, with the yellow-and-green motif starting in '63.
