Golf fans delight in this autographed tee box sign used for the 2003 PGA U.S. Senior Open at the Inverness Club. Based in Toledo, the Inverness course hosted the PGA Seniors from 6/26-29/03, where the offered sign was stationed at the 9th tee. Measuring 24x24 with scalloped corners, this tournament used sign shows ample evidence of authentic use, including titling, tour stickers and hole statistics on both sides. Moderate wear is evident along the perimeter and light markings are also scattered about the surfaces.
Amplifying the value of this official golf sign are the signatures of legends Arnold Palmer and Gary Player. The recently deceased Palmer’s (“8-9”) strength autograph appears between the “432 YDS” hole distance designation on the left and the red PGA sticker on the right and Player’s (“8-9”) signature is located just above between the “Par 4” designation and the red sticker. Player has provided an additional autograph on the opposite side, which also shows (“8-9”) quality at top left. Full photo LOA from JSA.
