It all started on September 18, 1970 for Don Baylor, his MLB debut seeing him go 2-5 with 3 RBI. Baylor is front and center with this 1970 game worn Orioles road jersey. The Spalding size 42 jersey is tagged "Set 2 68" and "25" sewn in the neck in black, underneath which Baylor has signed ("8"). The front of the gray flannel has "Baltimore 25" sewn in orange-on-black wool and the reverse has "Baylor 25" in much the same fashion. Light to moderate use, free of staining with all buttons intact. Although the jersey was manufactured for another player in 1968, it was repurposed for Baylor in his rookie year according to the LOA from Phil Wood for game use. Auction LOA for signature.
