The national treasure of the tiny island of Curacao, Andruw Jones was an outstanding outfielder for the Braves in the late 1990s and 2000s. Jones wore this #42 jersey on the April 15, 2007 contest between the Braves and the Marlins, in commemoration of Jackie Robinson's sacrifice in breaking baseball's color barrier. The Braves home jersey has "Braves" on front in blue-on-red twill in the same fashion as "42" appears on reverse, on which Jones's ("9-10") potency penning has been placed. A "LB 33 JS" patch appears on his left shoulder. There is a hand-written notation on the inside of the front shirt tail reading: "2 Run HR - bottom 5th - 4/15/07 - 3rd" identifying this jersey as the one he wore on that day, hitting his 3rd homerun of the season in the bottom of the 5th inning. MLB Authentication sticker.
