Charlie Keller (d.1986) had a successful 13-year career with five all-star appearances. A left-handed hitter, Keller was thought to be made for Yankee Stadium and its short porch. A few years into his career, the Yankees found out that he was not really a pull hitter and that he liked to go the opposite way with middle to outside pitches. His team finally realized that Keller was a heck of a hitter no matter where he aimed and let him go. Keller is the subject of this single-signed baseball. The orb has faded stampings (presents GD) and has the ("6") potency signature of the pinstriped legend on the sweet spot. Auction LOA from JSA.
