One of the best soccer players of the twentieth century was Argentina’s Diego Maradona. He played in four World Cups and scored an impressive 34 goals in 91 international appearances, but is perhaps best remembered for his memorable goal to help Argentina advance past England in the 1986 World Cup. When it was claimed that Maradona had bent the rules by scoring with the help of his left hand, Diego countered by saying that the goal was the work of the “Hand of God” (hence his nickname). The decorated futbol star is the subject of this signed baby blue and white AFA (Asociacion del Futbol Argentino) jersey. Maradona decorated the unlabeled jersey with a pristine (“10”) potency black Sharpie penning with a 10 inscription. The reverse has “MARADONA 10” printed on in black. An absolute must-have for soccer autograph collectors; full photo LOA from JSA.
