Description

The photos are all black and white until the 1963-64 season and subsequent images (with the exception of the 1950-51 photo which is in color). The images are all clear and print is bold in spite of the specific condition issues that are noted below. Almost all included specimens are in lower grade condition. Auction LOA from JSA for signed photographs.

Bobby Hull signed (“9”; To Pete Best of Luck) 1957-58 team photo: Moderate soling and staining as well as a small piece of tape on the bottom of the photograph. Chipping affects the two corners on the left side of the image. Notable pictured skaters include Glenn Hall, Bobby Hull, Ted Lindsay, Pierre Pilote;

 

Bobby Hull signed (“9”; To Peter Best Regards), 1960-61 Stanley Cup Champions team photo: Two pieces of tape line the top corners and a crease divides the photograph horizontally. Otherwise presents well with only corner chipping and a few small stains. Notable pictured skaters include Glenn Hall, Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, Pierre Pilote

1940-41 team photo: Heavy creasing on the front as well as small spots of paper loss along the corners and borders. The reverse has multiple pieces of tape which have been placed on the white surface to hold it together. The bottom features the facsimile signatures of team members including Max Bentley & Earl Seibert

 

1948-49 team photo: Presents in (VG-EX) condition with light creasing and a miniscule spot of paper loss on the top of the image. Notable skaters include Doug Bentley & Charlie Conacher

 

1949-50 team photo: The photograph has been torn and repaired on reverse with a strip of tape that runs from the top to the bottom vertically. Chipping affectes the top and the bottom of the image has been unevenly cut, partially affecting the bottom of the image. Notable skaters include Doug Bentley, Frank Brimsek & Charlie Conacher

 

1950-51 team photo: Moderate soiling affects the bottom left of the photograph. The top corners each have a pinhole and there is light creasing on the surface. Notable skaters include Harry Lumley, Jack Stewart

 

1954-55 team photo: Presents in (VG-EX) condition with deference to two small pinholes and three small pieces of tape. A very small spot of paper loss is in the bottom of John McCormack’s skate. Notable skaters include Al Rollins

 

1955-56 team photo: Heavy wear including staining and spots of paper loss as well as a torn off top left corner. The left side has a 2” tear across John Wilson image. Notable skaters include Al Rollins and Harry Watson

 

1959-60 team photo: Heavy wear including heavy creasing and spots of paper loss as well as chipping to the bottom left corner. The left side has a 2” tear across Walter Humeniuk image. Notable skaters include Glenn Hall, Bobby Hull, Ted Lindsay, Stan Mikita & Pierre Pilote

 

1960-61 Stanley Cup Champions team photo: presents in (VG) condition with deference to spots of tape residue on all four corners. Light creasing is scattered throughout the image, with one large crease on the far right side. Notable skaters include Glenn Hall, Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita & Pierre Pilote

 

1963-64 team photo: presents in (VG) condition with three small impressions along the right side border and deference to reverse side mounting wear. Miniscule spots of paper loss. Notable skaters include Glenn Hall, Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita & Pierre Pilote

 

1965-66 team photo: presents in (VG-EX) condition with moderate creasing and dimpling that is mostly unobtrusive. Notable skaters include Phil Esposito, Glenn Hall, Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita & Pierre Pilote

 

1966-67 team photo: presents in (VG-EX) condition with moderate creasing and light staining. Notable skaters include Phil Esposito, Glenn Hall, Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita & Pierre Pilote
