This miraculous survivor depicts the standard baseball "nine"—except that, interestingly, an outfielder is omitted in favor of a batting figure. Measuring 7-3/4 x 2-1/4 x 1-1/8", the black-lacquer wooden box is in very sturdy shape with bright colors, fine detail and a fully operable hinge There is some surface crazing and scattered abrasions to the illustrated panel, with minor general wear otherwise such as edge/corner rubbing.
